About

For the past 37 years, the Asian American Association (AAA) has hosted Fashion Show (FS) on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. While it originally began as a traditional fashion show, it eventually evolved into the dance showcase that it is known for today. Fashion Show remains as AAA's largest event of the year, attracting more than 400 guests to Foellinger Auditorium annually.
This year's theme is Radiant Generations. Generation is a time of adaptation where the old and new learn from each other. In this diverse era, people from various backgrounds transition and regain what's lost. Time changes, and we're now radiant. The world witnesses more movements, fostering a radiant generation that embraces diverse eras. We learn about gender, sexuality, pronouns, politics, and diverse backgrounds like being an adoptee, immigrant, or international student. We strive to understand different cultures and fill the generational gaps, fueling growth and innovative thinking. It's a new beginning for all, where we shine and find fulfillment.
